Just a Knee-Jerk (OUCH) Reaction ~~

I haven’t been around for the last days, almost a week now, because I am having problems with this darn knee surgery.  Ever since he dug and dug and dug at part of my knee to get one side of the stitches out, it has remained very swollen and hurts like the devil.  I was doing so well until he got hold of me and now seem to be going backwards.  It’s very hard to even hobble and takes forever to make it down the steps in the morning.  There are way too many times I actually yell and almost buckle over.  I have an appointment with him this Friday, so we’ll see what he says.  That darn clicking-snappin’ sound still vibrates right down to my ankle and that is just not normal.  I tell ya, had I known all of this, I think I may not have agreed to the surgery.  We’ll see;  I just want it to get out of pain.  In the meantime, I’m back to NOT sitting at the pc again……hate this….and haven’t done a blog walk at all.  I WILL catch up and leave a book’s worth of comments to you when I can.  I think that’s pretty much a given, don’t you?

Xoxoxo

  3. You know I would call the doc's nurse and tell her. Maybe his digging around did something? I know you need to drive your friend for her surgery but I am afraid you will hurt or damage your knee more. I'll be sending healing vibes your way via mentalepathy (?)
I wouldn't do stairs either. Do I sound like a nag? Hugs my friend!!!!!!!!

  4. I'm so sorry about the difficulty you're having with healing up Jenny. I have a friend that had both knees replaced...painful to watch the recovery process. I'll remember you in my prayers for sure.

  5. When you weren't out here I knew there was something very wrong. Sure hope it will become less painful after your consultation and that definite answers will be discovered through your visit. That digging sounds like it may be the cause.

  6. Jenny, I hate having regrets especially if it's dental or from surgery. I have had two such incidents. I wish you better satisfaction after this visit. Blessings, xoxo,Susie.

  7. I sure hope the doctor will give you some good news today, some way that he can help with that pain and stop it from clicking like that. I hate that you're going through all this. Take care of you! That's an order, friend.

  8. Just hang in there girl. I can see you skipping rope in the future. You mentioned on a comment about the sketchers shoes. Yes I have 3 pair. The paint splash ones, a black pair and the tourquoise pair as well. They are the only things I can run around it that relieve my planter fisceitis. Ok spelling all wrong. Any my heal hurt so bad I could walk after years of thongs and those rubber clogs. Love my sketchers. Sending healing prayers for you knee hope all goes good at the doctors.
