Closing Out For A While

This is just a short message for all of you sweet blogging friends. I only now saw your comments to me about Curtis and I appreciate them so much. Curtis was the best man I ever knew in my entire life, but you've heard that from me already. The problem is, his death is really hitting me awfully hard and the first anniversary of Mom's death is in 8 days, too. It's just too much right now. I cannot for the life of me stop crying it hurts so badly. To lose my mother who was the dearest person of my life and then to lose Curtis who was truly my best friend (and I was his; not just blogging buddies by any means), well, I don't have the words to describe it. I feel lost and ripped apart. I pray and pray but it doesn't stop these torrential nonstop tears and it's eased nothing. The pain is horrible. I'm going to take a break from blogspot for a bit, no blogging, no visiting. It wouldn't be fair to myself in this state of mind or to you since I wouldn't be sincerely concentrating on your wonderful blogs. Please understand. I need to get away from all of this just for a while and try to recoup and regroup. I wrote my last letter to Curtis on his 3rd blog at blogspot called Hollywood and I hope his spirit sees it. And now I'm writing my last blog here (not for good, just for a time) and hope you see it. Please know that I love you all and feel as if we've been neighbors for a long, long time. You are all precious to me. I'll see you another day. As always, xoxoxo to all -----Jenny 9:53pm my time in Virginia

  1. hi Jenny, you are much in my thoughts and prayers, those tears will stop eventually, they are needed at this time, but god will dry them and you will feel more able to cope. I want to thank you for the long helpful message you posted to me, it was very kind and loving, especially as you posted it in your time of great distress - lots of love and hugs - nita

  2. Sorry to see you leave, even for a while. Know we are here for you when you return. Sometimes it helps to just sit down and write it all out of your system. Write a story about Curtis and all the good times you had, something that will make you smile. He'd probably love that! His spirit will live on through you, if you let it. Good luck and hope to see you back here soon.

  3. I am so sorry Jenny for your loss of a very good friend, more like a brother. I know your mother's passing a year ago still seems like yesterday. I pray you find strength and courage and know many people love you and want to be by your side if you let them. Please email me time to time sweet friend as I will worry, you know that. Love and hugs.

  6. For many of us, friendship doesn't exist only as long as the other person is around, Jenny.

I haven't known you for long, but I do care and will be checking in on you from time to time. When I do, I'll leave a little message for you, as, no doubt, your other friends will.

Please take as long as it takes for your heart to mend and please know that your friends will be here when you return, however long it takes.

    *hugs Jenny very bigly*

  8. After reading this post, I relise how important it is for you to take that break.
A change (in solitude?) is what you require.
Have a nice time and come back.
Remember, things don't get easily wiped out. It surfaces from time to time (only the intensity is less)
I know . . . its been 10 years since I lost someone close, and it still surfaces at the most unexpected times.

  9. Have a spiritual refreshing break, Jenny..
We all feel the need...to take 'time out' and reflect on our pain and sorrow. So much feeling overtakes us and we can't continue, or if we do it costs too much...
Take care , my friend...and so many people are thinking of you...
I too am taking a holiday, I hope to catch up as soon as I get back...hugs and best wishes to you..
