I honestly thought I’d never tried to make a little vid, but holy moly, I was going through a folder I didn’t even know I’d made and I found this. I may never stop laughing. This is SO bad it’s ridiculously funny. All I’m going to say is: wait until you get to the dining room and then you’ll see for yourself that I certainly didn’t know one end of the camera from the other. Thank goodness I can laugh at myself and now I know why I never posted it. Ok, here it comes; hold onto your seats. Oscar material for sure :D
Ok, LEAN TO THE LEFT! LOL
ReplyDeleteAnd I didn't even introduce Sam at the end, poor furbaby. I should be banned from camera use. I can't believe I never even realized what would happen if I turned the camera!
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, Jenny! You're a wonderful hostess...perhaps next time you'll offer a glass of that vino.

Your home reflects the charming personality of its owner: warmth, cordiality, and intelligence. All reasons why I love you like a sister.
I hope you'll do some more videos like this!
Mucho huggos!
I love this Jenny. I love your colors. So very warm and inviting. Thanks for taking me into your home. Maybe I shoudl try it. Now laugh. I disabled my flash somehow and trying to fix that. What a day but you made me smile with this one and the last.
ReplyDeleteI went over to Youtube also.
Jenny sometimes I wonder why I have the camera I do too. Stay with what you have . You know just what to do. Im still learing .
Hugs Kid :) xoox
and Im with Marge. More.!!
What I want to know is how you got that lamp to stay put when you turned the china press sideways.
ReplyDeleteI was expecting a Richmond accent but you don't have an accent at all. Frankie says I can't make the same claim because the mountain accent has replaced my Tidewatuh drawl and people have even stopped getting all squinty eyed and asking "Ye ain't fum 'round here, are ye?"
Beautiful home and far better video than my first attempt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwgnOfRAse4
Wonderful tour!! Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteIf anyone comes back over here, you MUST go watch Chip's youtube vid. It is better than hysterical. His link is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwgnOfRAse4
ReplyDeleteAnd to Beth, oh gosh, thank you! I hope you can get your head straight up again, though; that's quite a lean I put you through, lol
Hey little girl...your place looks great...and the guided tour (with the sweet Southern accent) was very good.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you got to keep your beautiful antiques from the family.
You do indeed have a lovely home, Jenny, and it was a nice tour despite the sideways bit (which was fun).
ReplyDeleteTo Dave: If you come back and see this, thanks for the nice words and yes, I have antiques, but the ones you see, I have had since 1970 and before. The VAST majority of "family" antiques left behind by Mom are in storage. I tried living with her things for the first few months but it was just too sad, so I moved them out and moved my old things in and I relaxed a lot more, thank goodness. I don't know what I'm going to do about all the rest of the furniture in storage. I'd like to build on but don't know if I can afford it yet. Have to wait and see and in the meantime keep the storage going :)
ReplyDeleteLoved the tour and your butler ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny, Lots of Laughs, better than any attempt I could make at a video- It was great to hear your voice and your accent, caught sight of you with the camera too in your mirror. You have lots of nice things. Yes please do another one. Maybe one day I will be brave and do one, but maybe not, on second thoughts, lol - good to see the cat there too. Have a good day - Nita xx
ReplyDeleteJenny, I LOVED your videos - the squirrel is amazing - what do they say 'necessity is the mother of invention' and invent he did !
ReplyDeleteYour home looks like you talk - warm and inviting and beautiful. The best part is we got to hear your VOICE - you do have a southern accent - luv it - more videos please!
I know how bad videos can be and therefore usualyl don't take them myself however it's always good to hear a friend...it's a lot more interesting then not I have to say! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteJenny. You and I have such a similar voice (not exactly alike) that I could squint my ears and think it was me talking.
ReplyDeleteOK....I give up! I've been trying to figure out about all of that panting on the video.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't decide if it was you....or the cat that was in heat!
I'm sitting hear pouting - it's my computer, Jenny; on it's last legs. When (a big WHEN) I get a new one, I'm comin' back to watch!!
ReplyDelete((((hugs))))
Oh, and I'm still on dial up - in the country here can't get anything else. :(
ReplyDeleteI thought for a minute I was back on the Ferry boat coming from Jersey , LOL sorry I just couldn't resist that one.
ReplyDeleteSeriously the vid was a good one it's so nice to be invited into folks homes and I just loved that dinner setting, I could just see you coming through with a nice pot of chicken stew to fill up the plates, also loved your 'keys butler' I want one, NOW. I could say lots more but I want to read your next post. Ta,ta for now
Like other posters, I'm saying the video was fine, and I enjoyed our "walk" together through your charming abode! Love the cabinet in the dining room with the oval mirror best of all!
ReplyDeleteWell, all that huffing and puffing you hear is for I don't know what reason. It's been going on for over a year and xrays show clear lungs. Someone is missing something, but it's only been as of yesterday Nov 29th, that I now have full fledged health insurance, so I'll be making appts after the holidays and then just keep my fingers crossed. Nothing else I can say.
